The MOVE/ment
View excerpts created for Tour de Force by Cleo Parker Robinson. The MOVE/ment has its World Premiere in Denver during the March 2019 Tour de Force collaboration presented by the Colorado Ballet and including Wonderbound. The MOVE/ment was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement and the 50th anniversary of Dr King’s assassination.
BLACK ANGELS
Robert Sher-Machherndl, creates a new commissioned work Black Angels for Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. It comments upon young African American lives through the lens of a foreign artist.
RESIST
Commissioned by the American Dance Festival in 2019 specifically for the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Resist was choreographed by 25-year-old Micaela Taylor.
TALK BACK
Join Cleo and the Longmont Museum for a live streamed performance and talk back. The event will be about one hour, and include 30 minutes of performance and 30 minutes of Q&A.
