GONE performance installation (world premiere)

Internationally-acclaimed choreographer Robert Sher-Machherndl delivers a new pop-up work GONE performance installation (world premiere) drawing upon a spirit of enquiry toward new and unimagined movement language. An exploration of motion and form which reflects the vision of his soul, allowing the spectator take a close look at the human condition. GONE is the first site-specific performance to be held at the new state-of-the-art Boulder Junction, September 27 & 28, 2018.

Lemon Sponge Cake is working in close collaboration with ART Boulder to create a multi-faceted art experience. A raw and stylish space with panoramic views at Boulder Junction will be transformed into a fully produced industrial chic venue for GONE a performance installations. “The space is enormous, and begging for an art project” says Sher-Machherndl, “so we jumped on a one time opportunity”

A sound-score is interspersed with newly composed cello compositions by acclaimed Daniel Kellogg to be played live by cellist Yoriko Morita.  And, spoken word by San Francisco based writer, actor and director Michael French.
